It's Spaghetti Dinner Time!

It's headed your way like a giant meatball rolling down a mountainside: time once again for TLM Friends' Annual Padre Pio Spaghetti Dinner!

Last year we had it in August. This year, the Padre Pio/Fr. Louie Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be in October. (That's another example of what we Catholics call a "Moveable Feast.")

The dinner will be on Saturday, 26 October, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 515 W. Valley Parkway in good ol' Escondido CA. The doors will open at 4 PM, with the actual spaghetti-slinging starting at 5 PM, and running to 6 PM...or whenever the last surviving spoonful of pasta is dished out. Get there early!

The Knights will have their cash bar running, and there will be other complimentary beverages available. Lively Italian music will be provided by an honest-to-goodness DJ, and we're putting together some nifty raffle prizes!

If you're flying solo, a $20 donation gets you in the door. Your entire family can dine for $40. You can make your reservations after Mass at Pala, or reserve via phone by calling 760-315-6003.

This year we're honoring Mr. Terry Barber, one of the shakers & movers at Virgin Most Powerful Radio and co-host of the Terry & Jesse Show. Terry has been instrumental in helping promote Catholic radio since the 1980s, when there were only 5 Catholic stations across the country and has been heard over the years on over 180 Catholic radio stations around the United States. As the founder of Saint Joseph Communications and the Catholic Resource Center; the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Lighthouse Catholic Media, Terry Barber has hosted countless conferences. Before beginning his radio hosting career, Terry touched millions of lives through audiotape and CD evangelization, and in the past 30+ years, Terry has distributed over 25 million inspirational Catholic audio CDs and DVDs.
