Father John Perricone is a TLM pilgrim in Jersey City.
Father John, as a Catholic priest, author, teacher, homilist supreme, and all-round raconteur leads a TLM community at Our Lady of Sorrows church, a shining star in a poor urban neighborhood.
The community is from all over the New Jersey-New York area, Manhattan, North Jersey, Bronx

and Brooklyn. The accents are deeply New York--but the true accent heard is Latin and its devotion to the Mass of the Ages.
Our Lady of Sorrows also is well-known as the church that Frank Sinatra was married in 1939.
The schola, Cantantes in Cordibus, is a gem of traditional music, whether solemn chant, Catholic hymns and classical motets. It is the TLM fundraising arm as its
501 c 3.
The community is vibrant with catechism classes, run bi-weekly by Father Perricone as well as weekly convivium following mass. There has been several adult communions during Lent this year.
