Bishop Joseph Strickland is being hit with an “Apostolic Visitation.” Write the Papal Nuncio TODAY to defend this true friend of the TLM!
According to reports from various Catholic news outlets, the Vatican has launched an investigation into Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler Texas.
According to The Pillar, the Vatican Dicastery for Bishops has undertaken an apostolic visitation to the Diocese of Tyler, Texas.
The Pillar says, an apostolic visitation is “an official review of diocesan leadership and governance, usually convened at the behest of a Vatican congregation.”
Bishop Strickland has run afoul of those not necessarily friendly to Tradition. We’re asking all Catholics of good will to come to his defense today!
The above excerpt is from a secular news source, but you can find plenty of accounts of this disturbing story all over the place.
This is not good news. You probably heard about Bishop Strickland’s response to the nonsense going inside Dodger Stadium, where the woke ball club publicly honored an anti-Catholic hate group. Of all the prelates in the US, it was this lone shepherd who offered witness to the truth, leading a procession in reparation for the outrages taking place on the infield.
And now he is under attack. We don’t use the word “attack” lightly, but that is essentially what is going on.
What can you do to help? A couple of things…
First and foremost, keep Bishop Strickland in your prayers!
Second, consider taking action.
