Last October TLM Friends hosted and sponsored Harpa Dei, as part of its North American tour, and its appearances at St. Mary's, Escondido, and St. Charles, Imperial Beach.
North American tour? This isn't a Taylor Swift concert!
Harpa Dei are four young people (three sisters and one brother) who are devoted to spreading Sacred Music around the world. Just type in the words Harpa Dei
on You Yube and you will see what we mean.
This family lives in Germany, Ecuador and in the Holy Land with other members of their spiritual family, known as the Agnus Dei community.
There is Nikolai, Marie-Elisee, Mirjana and Lucia Gerstner.
TLM Friends arranged for concerts at two San Diego parishes. TLM Friends also helped them find lodging at the Benedictine Abbey in Oceanside. A trip to Little Italy and we escorted them to Our Lady of the Rosary, the most beautiful parish in San Diego, where they asked to sing vespers.
As you can see below, Harpa Dei were presented with "Our Lady of the Peripheries" tee shirts in their favorite forest green color. I think Nikolai needs a smaller size!
They are a beautiful family that supports the TLM and are a beacon for Sacred Music in the church!
